# RoadRun Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

## 1. Introduction
These Terms of Service and Privacy Policy (“Agreement”) constitute a binding legal agreement between you and RoadRun, Inc. (“RoadRun,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your use of our platform that connects clients with independent mobile service providers ("Runners").
By accessing or using RoadRun’s services, you confirm your understanding and acceptance of this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
## 2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction to use our services.
## 3. User Accounts
Users are required to register for an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under it.
## 4. Use of the Platform
You agree not to misuse our services or help anyone else do so. Examples include:
- Using false information or impersonating another person.
- Bypassing our scheduling or payment systems.
- Engaging in unlawful, harassing, or abusive behavior.
- Attempting to reverse engineer, extract, or scrape platform data.
## 5. Client Responsibilities
Clients must:
- Provide accurate booking details.
- Be present at the scheduled time.
- Pay applicable fees.
- Not solicit services outside the platform.
## 6. Runner Responsibilities
Runners must:
- Accurately list their availability, radius, and qualifications.
- Provide services professionally.
- Maintain valid licenses and insurance.
- Use RoadRun for all client interactions.
## 7. Payment & Fees
All payments are processed via a third-party (e.g., Stripe). Clients authorize RoadRun to charge for scheduled services. RoadRun may apply service fees, distance-based fees, or late cancellation charges.
## 8. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Clients and Runners are responsible for adhering to the stated cancellation windows. Last-minute cancellations or no-shows may result in charges. Refund decisions are made at RoadRun’s discretion.
## 9. Communications
By using RoadRun, you consent to receive communications from us via SMS, email, and in-app notifications. These communications include appointment confirmations, reminders, service updates, and account-related alerts.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- RoadRun may send you text messages (SMS) to the phone number associated with your account.
- Standard message and data rates may apply based on your carrier.
- You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying “STOP” to any message.
- Opting out of SMS may affect your ability to receive important service notifications.
By providing your phone number and using the platform, you affirmatively consent to receive automated text messages related to your use of the service.
By using RoadRun, you consent to receive text messages and emails for account, appointment, and security-related notifications. Message/data rates may apply. You can opt out by replying STOP or changing your settings.
## 10. Intellectual Property
All RoadRun content and technology is protected by copyright and trademark law. Users may not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit our content.
## 11. Reviews & User Content
Users may submit reviews, feedback, and other content. By doing so, you grant RoadRun a license to use this content. RoadRun may remove content that violates our policies.
## 12. Privacy Policy
We collect and process personal information including:
- Name, contact details, address, payment data, location, and service history.
We use this information to:
- Facilitate service delivery.
- Process payments.
- Provide customer support.
- Improve platform functionality.
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with service providers or where required by law.
## 13. Security
We implement reasonable safeguards (e.g., HTTPS, encryption, tokenized payments). However, no system is completely secure. You use the platform at your own risk.
## 14. Disclaimers
RoadRun is a facilitator, not a service provider. We do not guarantee the quality or legality of services delivered by Runners. Use of our services is at your sole risk.
## 15. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, RoadRun shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by you via the platform in the preceding six months.
## 16. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RoadRun from any claims arising out of your misuse of the services or violation of this Agreement.
## 17. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration
You agree to resolve disputes with RoadRun through binding individual arbitration in [State], unless otherwise required by law. You waive your right to participate in class actions.
## 18. Modifications
We may update these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Continued use of our services after changes implies acceptance.
